I’m getting started on version 2 of the seo mod which I originally created for PHPmotion v1. Unfortunately v2 of PHPmotion has no better seo then the first release but that will all change once I release this mod!
The original mod only handled the links for videos,groups,users & categories. Here’s a quick list of what v2 will do, let me know what you think 
- Link rewrite for users, videos, audio, categories, groups…
- Custom meta tags for categories, videos and pretty much all pages!
- Super easy to install! (only 1 line to add)
There’s plenty more features but I’d better get busy making the addon rather then talking about it 
Whilst there’s only 1 line to add to the actual script, there are many changes made to the template files these will all be provided but if you intend buying the mod you’re probably better off waiting until you’ve got it installed before editing your current site theme.
I’m feeling creative so I’ll be redoing this site soon (if I have the time), I’ll also be completing it some more because as you may have noticed some of the pages are a bit bare…
Want to make your phpmotion site different to all those other ones out there? I will be creating a dark web2 style theme soon which I will release for a small amount (well under $100) which is a bargain for a complete theme
It will be available in several colors & I’ll post some screen shots soon.
Due to lack of spare time, v2 of the seo mod for PHPmotion is on hold at least until there is a stable release out. I guess that’s probably wiser as if I worked on beta & something changed in the final release the mod would need changing again 
With the new beta release of PHPmotion v2 (which I haven’t even had time to try out yet lol ) I’ll be creating a new url mod which will do even more stuff then the previous one to help get even better search engine rankings!
I’m not sure when it will be ready but I’ll try to get it done asap!
Happy new year to everyone (I know I’m late) things have been kinda busy lately so I haven’t been able to update my blog for a while.
Anyway here’s a quick run down on what’s happened since my last post.
- Got christmas presents! A new phone & a laptop (well the laptop is on a loan but counts as a xmas pressie as I bought it 2 days before)
- Played around with my new laptop (HP dv9500t) which is about 300 times faster then what I was on before.
- Spent a few days trying to figure out vista
- Spent some more time fixing vista… I don’t know if I’m unlucky or if Vista was released to early…
- Finally got vista nearly setup how I wanted it
- Started working on my nice new (now working) laptop!
And that’s about it really nothing special, I also finished some work on some client’s sites which I’ll probably post about later.
