Private v3 beta testing has started

Beta testing for the latest & greatest PHPmotion has recently started, limited to a select few forum members & the moderators. Hopefully this means that the public release isn’t far away. So all of you who have been patiently waiting (and impatiently for some…), your wait is nearly over!

Personally I haven’t been able to look through v3 yet from lack of spare time. I did start installing it until I found out my cgi-bin wasn’t correctly configured and I had to get back to work, so it’ll have to wait a few days (hopefully not too long because I want to have a good look round). Whilst I haven’t posted into that thread I thought I might post about it here instead.

Would you gain anything out of using a valid theme?

That’s something I’ve decided to work on in my spare time, a new 100% hand coded, CSS styled, speed optimized theme for PHPmotion. How optimized?
